Er is een levensgevaarlijke drug opgedoken die onder de naam "Fatal Beauty" de straten van Los Angeles onveilig maakt. Maar niet als het aan Rita Rizzoli (Goldberg) ligt. Als keiharde en door de wol gewassen undercover agente is ze niet van plan het kwaad onbestraft te laten. Tegen het bevel van haar baas in trekt Rita met haar pistool en scherpe tong ten strijde tegen de verantwoordelijke drugskoning. En om dichter bij de vijand te geraken papt ze aan met Mike Marshak (Sam Elliott), de ruige maar aantrekkelijke bodyguard van de drugskoning. Het vervelende is alleen dat ze niet weet of ze hem nu moet doden....of hem juist moet zoenen!
